Formed in 2009 by industry veterans Edwin Foo and Djohan Arifin Chen, The Design Ministry is the culmination of nearly 2 decades of experience in the development of extraordinary commercial and residential projects.

In their individual careers as owner of Nest Space Planners Pte Ltd and as an award-winning independent interior designer, the company's founders earned a reputation for advancing the state of Singaporean Design - a tradition that proudly continues with The Design Ministry.

Working in a creative partnership, Foo and Chen's unique styles converge on a dialogue between contrasting elements; small spaces that feel open; new homes with a sense of history; and the use of luxurious, yet understated, details. Their rich backgrounds in building and design inform each new project with the latest in construction techniques and materials, ensuring results that are both sustainable and cost-efficient at every level of involvement.
